Never having tried such a side sleeper shaped pillow before, I placed my order. Following the unboxing instructions, I tried it out. Found the pillow extremely soft and supportive, and yet no where near as firm as my mom's memory foam pillows, which was ideal for me. The foam pillows are too hard for my tastes. The first nights sleep ended up making my neck ache the next morning. I was initially disappointed, but determined to try it out for at least a week to make a more accurate decision. The second night of sleep was deep and I awoke with no nekc issues. I believe there is a bit of adjustment with this pillow for some users. I did end up ordering some more fill for my pillow because it was a bit too soft and squishy for my head and neck. Adding more fill really helped.
